The things people actually ask before buying a pendant light.
How high should a pendant hang?
Over a kitchen island or dining table, hang the bottom about 75 to 90cm above the surface so it lights it well without blocking views. In open space, keep at least 210cm of floor clearance.
Can I adjust the hanging height?
Yes. Each pendant comes with an adjustable cord or chain that is shortened at installation, so it sits just right over an island, a table or in a hallway.
Does a pendant come with a bulb?
Yes. Almost every pendant ships with a warm-white LED bulb (around 3000K, standard E27 fitting) plus mounting hardware, so it is ready to hang and glow the moment it arrives.
How many pendants do I need over an island?
As a guide, space pendants evenly with roughly 70 to 80cm between centres; most islands take two or three depending on length. Leave even gaps from each end so the grouping looks balanced.
Are pendant lights dimmable?
Many are. Dimmability is noted on each product page, and where a bulb is included we ship a dimmable warm-white LED so you can set the mood.
What are they made of?

What size pendant suits my table?
Over a dining table, aim for a pendant or group about one-third to one-half the table width. A single wide shade suits a round table, while a row of smaller pendants suits a long rectangular one.
Can I use a pendant in a room with low ceilings?
Yes. Choose a more compact shade and a shorter drop, and use the adjustable cord to keep clearance. A short pendant keeps the look without crowding head height.
Do pendants work in bathrooms or outdoors?
Indoor pendants are made for dry rooms. For bathrooms or covered outdoor areas, choose a fitting with the right IP rating, check the product page, or see our outdoor range.
