We primarily serve customers in the United Kingdom and also ship to Germany, the Netherlands, other European countries, Australia, Canada, and selected international destinations where our products are available.

HavelaLights sells lighting products and related accessories through its website.

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, specifications, images, prices, availability, and other product information accurately. However, minor variations in colour, finish, size, appearance, or packaging may occur due to screen settings, lighting, photography, manufacturing tolerances, or product updates.

Such minor variations do not normally constitute a product defect if the product remains consistent with its description and suitable for its intended use.

Product availability may change at any time. If a product you ordered becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate solution, such as cancellation and refund, replacement, or another option where available.


5. Product Installation and Use

Lighting products must be installed and used safely and in accordance with the product instructions, applicable electrical safety requirements, and local laws or regulations.

Where electrical installation is required, you are responsible for ensuring that installation is carried out safely by a competent person or qualified professional where required by law or local safety standards.

Any installation times, ease-of-installation statements, or similar guidance on our website are general estimates only. Actual installation requirements may vary depending on the product, existing wiring, ceiling type, property condition, tools available, and installer experience.

HavelaLights is not responsible for damage, injury, installation faults, electrical issues, or other problems caused by incorrect installation, misuse, modification, improper maintenance, or failure to follow instructions.


6. Order Process and Contract Formation

Products displayed on our website are invitations to place an order and do not constitute a binding offer by us.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product or products under these Terms.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order. We may still contact you before processing or dispatch if there is an issue with payment authorisation, fraud checks, product availability, pricing, address details, or order verification.

A contract between you and HavelaLights is formed when your order is accepted by us. Acceptance may occur when we confirm the order, process the order, or dispatch the product.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where permitted by law, including where:

  • The product is unavailable
  • There is an obvious pricing or product information error
  • Payment is declined, reversed, or cannot be verified
  • Fraud, unauthorised activity, or misuse is suspected
  • The delivery address is incomplete, invalid, or outside our available shipping destinations
  • We are required to do so by law, payment-provider rules, or carrier restrictions

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a refund to the original payment method, unless prohibited by law or payment-provider restrictions.


7. Pricing, Currency, and Taxes

Prices on our website may be displayed in different currencies depending on your location, selected country or region, and the currency options available on our website.

Our website may use your IP address or browser/location settings to suggest a country, region, and currency. You may also be able to change your selected country, region, or currency manually using the options available on our website.

The final currency, product price, taxes, duties, discounts, and total order amount will be shown at checkout before you place your order. Please review the checkout page carefully before confirming your purchase.

The amount charged for your order will be the final amount shown at checkout in the selected checkout currency.

We offer free standard shipping on all orders placed through our website. Orders shipped with DHL where available include free insured DHL shipping.

Prices may change at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed, unless there is an obvious pricing or technical error.

If your bank, card issuer, or payment provider applies currency conversion fees, foreign transaction fees, international transaction fees, or other payment-related charges, those fees are set by your provider and are outside our control.


8. Payment

Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout before you place your order. Available payment methods may vary depending on your location, device, browser, selected currency, and checkout availability.

We may accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and Apple Pay, plus local payment methods shown at checkout, such as BLIK, Wero, Multibanco, Bizum, PayMe, Affirm, or SprayPay where available.

Orders are not processed or dispatched until payment has been successfully authorised or completed.

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. We do not store full credit card numbers or full payment card details on our own systems.

9. Shipping and Delivery

We ship to the countries and regions available at checkout. This may include the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, other European countries, Australia, Canada, and selected international destinations where our products and services are available.

We offer free standard shipping on all orders placed through our website. Orders shipped with DHL where available include free insured DHL shipping. No standard shipping fee will be added at checkout.

Orders are shipped with DHL where available. Depending on your delivery country, delivery location, and local delivery network, DHL may work with local delivery partners, or your shipment may be delivered by a local carrier for final-mile delivery.

This means the carrier shown on your tracking page may sometimes include DHL, a DHL delivery partner, or another local carrier responsible for delivery in your area.

Our order processing time is 0–1 business days.

Our order cut-off time is 4:00 PM UK Time, Monday to Saturday. Orders placed after the cut-off time, on Sundays, or on public holidays will begin processing on the next processing business day.

Delivery estimates depend on your delivery country. Estimated delivery times are calculated in business days and include order processing and delivery.

Processing business days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays that affect our operations, fulfilment partners, DHL, local carriers, or delivery partners.

Carrier delivery business days may vary by destination country, DHL schedule, local carrier schedule, local public holidays, and local delivery conditions.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. Actual delivery times may vary due to DHL or local carrier delays, customs processing, local delivery conditions, public holidays, weather disruptions, incorrect address details, or circumstances outside our control.

Orders may be fulfilled through our logistics network, including our Netherlands fulfilment and returns facility where applicable. This facility may be used for EU dispatch, return processing, and logistics handling. It is not our registered business address.

10. Delivery Address Accuracy

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing your order.

If a package cannot be delivered because the address provided was incorrect, incomplete, refused, or the package was not collected, reasonable return shipping, handling, storage, or re-shipping costs may be deducted from any applicable refund, unless prohibited by law.

If you need to update your delivery address after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible at support@havelalights.com. We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed, dispatched, or handed over to DHL, a local carrier, or a fulfilment partner.


11. Returns, Refunds, Cancellations, and Exchanges

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions in our Return & Refund Policy.

For change-of-mind returns, cancellation returns, voluntary returns, and exchange requests, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping to the return address stated in our Return & Refund Policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or not as described, we will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Photos or videos may help us review damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete, not-as-described, or warranty-related issues. However, we understand that not every issue can be recorded, especially if it happened only once. If you cannot provide a photo or video, please describe the issue clearly.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory cancellation, return, refund, repair, replacement, or other consumer rights you may have under applicable law.


12. Two-Year Warranty and Statutory Rights

Every HavelaLights light carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, LED failure, and remote malfunction under normal use.

If your light stops working under normal use within two years of delivery because of a covered warranty issue, we will send a free replacement with no shipping costs.

To make a warranty claim, email us at support@havelalights.com with your order number and a short description of the issue. Photos or videos can help us review your claim, but we understand that not every issue can be recorded.

This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects, LED failure, and remote malfunction that occur under normal use within two years of delivery.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation
  • Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage
  • Unauthorised modification or repair
  • Improper maintenance or cleaning
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by use outside the product instructions
  • Damage caused by unsuitable electrical systems, power surges, or external conditions outside our control

This warranty is provided in addition to any statutory consumer rights you may have under applicable law. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes your legal rights for faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, not-as-described, non-conforming, or otherwise defective goods.

13. Promotions, Discounts, and Offers

From time to time, we may offer discounts, promotions, sale prices, or special offers.

Promotions are subject to the terms shown with the offer and may have expiry dates, product exclusions, minimum order values, availability limits, or other conditions.

Discount codes must be entered at checkout before the order is placed. We cannot guarantee that a discount can be applied after an order has already been submitted.

We reserve the right to correct, cancel, or refuse promotions where there is an obvious error, misuse, fraud, or technical issue, where permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

We are not responsible for delays, failures, or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including DHL or local carrier delays, customs delays, extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruption, payment-provider issues, technical failures, or government actions.


19. Consumer Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or concern, please contact us first at support@havelalights.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly.

Please include your order number, contact details, and a clear description of the issue.

We aim to respond within 48 hours.

If you are located in the United Kingdom or another European country, you may also have the right to contact a local consumer advice organisation, consumer protection authority, or dispute resolution body depending on your location and applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits your right to seek remedies through your bank, payment provider, card issuer, consumer protection authority, or court where applicable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region provide otherwise.

If you are a consumer located in the United Kingdom, another European country, Australia, Canada, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, you retain the protection of those mandatory laws where they apply.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from bringing a claim in a court or forum where you have a mandatory legal right to do so.
